What does a digital scratch card look like?
The card starts from your campaign KV: background, colours, product, logo. The scratch area can mimic classic silver foil or be drawn entirely in your brand's style. People scratch with a finger or a mouse, and underneath they find a prize or a "try again" message.
The platform decides the result before the scratch, based on the odds and stock set for each prize. The card only reveals it, so the experience stays fair and controlled.
When should you pick scratch cards over a wheel?
| Scratch cards | Spin the wheel | |
|---|---|---|
| Best channel | Phone, web, QR code | Kiosks and events, but also web |
| How it feels | Personal, like a real scratch ticket | Showy, visible from across the room |
| Best for | Receipt promotions, long campaigns | Stand activations, high footfall |
| Length of a game | A few seconds | A few seconds |
In short: the wheel draws a crowd at events, the scratch card is more personal and feels natural on a phone. You can use both in one campaign, on the same platform.
How does it work in receipt promotions?
A scratch card is a natural reward after a receipt upload: the participant uploads the receipt, Recefly validates it automatically, then the card unlocks. Read more on the receipt-upload promotions page.
What do you control from the dashboard?
- win odds for every prize;
- total stock and daily caps;
- the time windows in which a prize can drop;
- entry limits, for example one entry per person per day;
- the winners list and CSV or XLSX export.
All in real time, in the reporting dashboard.
Want people to spend more time with the product?
If the goal is to make people remember your range, have a look at the branded memory game. If you need impact at a stand, a spin-the-wheel game at events is still the most visible mechanic.
